Fred Meyer and UFCW Local 555 Start Bargaining

Fred Meyer and UFCW Local 555 bargaining committees opened negotiations on the Portland and Bend Meat and Grocery contracts this week.

The company and union are working together to negotiate new contracts and reach an agreement that is good for you. Our goal for these negotiations is to improve your wages, continue to provide affordable health care benefits and maintain a pension for your retirement, while keeping groceries affordable. By working together, we believe we can reach this goal.

Fred Meyer and UFCW Local 555 are scheduled to meet again on August 5 and August 6 to continue the discussions.

We will keep you up to date on negotiations through huddles with your store leader, handouts posted on store bulletin boards, and posts on this site.
